Good Afternoon,
APWW is issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory this afternoon for the following locations in the Plattenville area: Spur 70 to Cane Row
Water will be turned off this afternoon so that APWW can repair a main line leak on Hwy 70. We anticipate water to be off for about 2 hours.
Once water is back on, all affected customers will be under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory.
All affected customers have been notified in person or by door hangers.
Water samples will be taken today and transported to the State Laboratory for testing. When favorable results have been received, we will then notify everyone affected that the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.
